How to join ESPO? PDF Print E-mail

ESPO membership is restricted to one organisation from a European country which needs to be a recognised organisation representing the national vocational education and training system in its country. Organisations who are already active as a member within the WorldSkills international organisation, will have a first right to become also ESPO member.

The benefits for ESPO members are:

  • International networking between experts from VET and industry on European level
  • Improved structure of skills activities at a national level
  • Increased quality of national skills competitions
  • Instrument for developing national VET-system
  • Active support and involvement in EU policies such as mobility, EQF etc.
  • The right to send a national team of competitors to the upcoming EuroSkills event
  • Invitation for ESPO meetings to represent their country
  • Getting financial and political support from the European Commission

By becoming an ESPO member, your organisation gains certain rights within the ESPO organisation (see Statutes and Bye Laws).

Euroskills Lisboa 2010 - Valuing Professions and Vocational Training


In December, Lisbon will host the second edition of European Professions Competition/EuroSkills Lisboa 2010 where some 500 young people will be competing, having shown on a European scale that in the 52 professions of the competition they are the best and most skilful from their respective countries.
