The famous racetrack of Spa-Francorchamps is proud to welcome EuroSkills 2012. The 3rd European skills competition will take place from 4-6 October 2012.
Over 3 days of competition, more than 450 young people from all over Europe will compete against each other in more than 40 skills. Plumbers, Cooks, Web Designers, Electricians, Florists or Hairdressers will test themselves against tough European standards during 20 hours. The ultimate prize they are all aiming at is the gold medal. The entrance to the competition is free of charge. We expect more than 40.000 visitors such as policy makers, government representatives, educational organizations (schools, vocational education and training centers, universities etc), representatives of public and private partners as well as representatives of the business sector.
EuroSkills 2012 is the opportunity for thousands of young people to see and have a go at a wide range of skills. The Try-a-skill program is aimed at inspiring students about their training and career choices.
EuroSkills 2012 is also the opportunity for public institutions and private companies to support the competition, to get in touch with students and job seekers and maybe to find a potential employee.
EuroSkills 2012 is also the opportunity to leave a positive image of vocational skills to young people.
The Future’s in your hands.
