 During the 6th WorldSkills Europe General Assembly, held in Spa on April 19th 2012, it was decided to hounour the application of WorldSkills Sweden for the organsiation of the 5th EuroSkills event in 2016, the event will be held in Gothenburg (Sweden)

Board

WorldSkills Europe Board

The Board of Directors is composed of at least five or if higher an odd number of persons consisting of one President, a Secretary, one Treasurer and at least two other Board members. At present eight countries are directly involved in the executive board of the association WorldSkills Europe.

CDC

Competition Development Committee

The Competition Development Committee (CDC), is chaired by Mr. Stephan Praschl (Technical Delegate from Austria) and  the vice chair is Mr. Carlos Vintem (Portugal). The CDC is responsible for the preparation of the next EuroSkills competition. The CDC works with the Technical delegates (TD) of the WorldSkills Europe member countries. Within working groups the development of the EuroSkills events is organized.

WorldSkills Europe members

Organisations, supported by their national authority, representing the national organisation for the promotion of skills and craftmenship are entitled to become a member.

Each new member will be ratified by the annual General Assembly, which will be held in one of the member country.
